Complete this milestone as part of the official credential progression.
Core learning
Follow the current official objectives
- 1.Inventories and managed nodes
- 2.Playbooks, variables, facts, and loops
- 3.Roles and reusable content
- 4.Templates, files, packages, services, and storage
- 5.Security, users, firewall, and SELinux automation
- 6.Troubleshooting, validation, and idempotency
Hands-on consolidation
Perform the work in an isolated lab
Build a version-controlled Ansible project for at least four disposable RHEL nodes. Use inventories, variables, roles, templates, handlers, Vault-protected secrets, error handling, and validation to configure services securely. Run it repeatedly and prove idempotency and recovery from a failed node.
You can automate an unfamiliar requirement from documentation, keep secrets out of source control, diagnose a failed task, and prove the resulting fleet state is correct and repeatable.
