Hands-on consolidation

Work in a disposable Linux lab

Create an isolated Linux virtual machine. Navigate the filesystem, inspect files and permissions, manage a local user, install a package, inspect a service and its logs, test DNS and network connectivity, use Git for a small configuration change, and document how you would protect and recover the system. Use synthetic data only.
