Cisco / Enterprise networking / CCST-NET
Build networking foundations
Use CCST Networking as an optional entry point before CCNA. Learn devices, media, addressing, protocols, basic configuration, troubleshooting, and security without treating it as a formal CCNA prerequisite.
Core learning
Follow the current official objectives
- 1.Network standards, devices, and media
- 2.IPv4 and IPv6 addressing
- 3.Switching, routing, wireless, and services
- 4.Basic device and endpoint configuration
- 5.Troubleshooting and security fundamentals
Hands-on consolidation
Build and troubleshoot in an isolated lab
Build a small Packet Tracer network with two LANs, switches, a router, DHCP, DNS, wireless, and IPv4/IPv6 addressing. Break one element at a time, diagnose it from evidence, restore service, and record the verification commands.
You can explain packet flow, calculate a basic subnet, configure endpoint connectivity, distinguish switching from routing, and troubleshoot from the physical layer upward.
