- Does PL-300 have labs, and can I practise them without a tenant?

- What does a PL-300 lab look like?
- Each lab opens a focused Power BI teaching workspace with a prepared fictional sales file. Transform data, configure relationships, write supported DAX expressions and change report or security settings. Use optional hints and Check my work to grade the resulting data and model. Each task can be practised independently.
- Do the labs cover the current PL-300 exam outline?
- These 25 tasks practise selected objectives from the PL-300 skills measured as of 20 April 2026: data preparation, modeling, visualization and security. They do not reproduce all Power BI features or cover every exam objective. Use official Microsoft training and the practice test alongside the labs.
- How is this different from a Microsoft Learn sandbox or a trial tenant?
- The workspace uses fictional sales extracts and a bounded browser engine for the listed transformations, relationships and DAX functions. It gives immediate feedback without a Power BI installation. It cannot open PBIX files, execute arbitrary M or DAX, publish real reports, authenticate a data source or run real refresh jobs.
