Certificate of Completion

Finish the course. Prove it.

Complete all 36 labs and you can download a certificate of completion with your name, the skills you practised and a unique ID. Challenges are optional. Anyone can check it on a public verification page — and add it to LinkedIn in one click.

  • Not self-declared. Before issuing, our server re-runs the grader on every lab you saved, so a checkbox in your browser is not enough.
  • Verifiable. Every certificate has its own page at examitlab.com/verify/<ID>.
  • Honest. It certifies that you completed this course. It is independent training, not an official certification.

Sample certificate — name and ID are fictional.

LFCA hands-on labs — questions

Does LFCA have labs, and can I practise them without a Linux machine?
Yes. ExamIT Lab gives you 36 guided LFCA labs in a simulated Linux terminal. Nothing runs on a real server, virtual machine or cloud account, so there is nothing to install, nothing to pay a cloud provider for, and nothing you can break.
Are the LFCA labs free?
The first 5 labs in the learning order are free, repeatable and never expire — no credit card and no sign-up required to start. The full course of 36 labs plus 4 troubleshooting challenges is a one-time purchase with no subscription.
What does a LFCA lab look like?
Each lab opens a simulated Linux host (a fictional distribution) driven from a terminal — the filesystem and command line, pipelines, sed and awk, shell scripts, archives, users, groups and permissions, software packages, systemd services, processes, cron and timers, disks and mounts, networking and troubleshooting, logs, backup and restore, cloud service models, subnet plans, availability and cost reports, SSH hardening, the firewall, sudo rules and compliance checks, Git, containers, a CI pipeline gate, and project-planning, architecture, requirements and open source licensing exercises. You get a task brief, a guided or independent mode, progressive hints and a "Check my work" button that grades the actual state you left behind — files, accounts, services, Git and container state — not the commands you typed.
Is this a real Linux system?
No. It is a teaching simulator: a fictional Linux distribution with the common command-line tools, systemd, Git and a container runtime reproduced in your browser. Command output follows the official documentation where it was checked, and a few formats are approximations. A passing result here is practice, not proof that something works on a real server.
Is this affiliated with the Linux Foundation?
No. ExamIT Lab is independent. LFCA is used only as the descriptive name of the exam these labs help you prepare for; the labs are original practice material and are not endorsed or sponsored by the Linux Foundation.
Do the labs cover the current LFCA exam outline?
The labs are mapped to the six domains of the published LFCA outline (Linux, system administration, cloud computing, security, DevOps and IT project management fundamentals), as read on the official certification page; that page shows no version number, so we re-audit the mapping when it changes. LFCA is a multiple-choice exam, so the labs build the hands-on understanding behind the questions; combine them with the LFCA practice test on ExamIT Lab.
Is there a certificate at the end?
Yes. When all 36 labs are complete you can issue a certificate of completion in your account: a PDF with your name and a unique ID, an Add to LinkedIn link and a public verification page. Before issuing, the server re-runs the course grader on every lab you saved, so it reflects work you really did. It certifies completion of this course; it is independent training, not an official certification.
How is this different from running Linux in a virtual machine?
A virtual machine gives you an empty system and no feedback. These labs give you a pre-built host with fictional users, logs and services, a clear goal for each task, hints when you want them and automatic checking of the state you leave behind — so you practise the workflows the exam topics describe, in minutes, with nothing to install.

Access is per course. Sign in for account progress. After paid access expires, your saved progress is retained and the first five tasks remain free.
