- Does DP-700 have labs, and can I practise them without a tenant?

- What does a DP-700 lab look like?
- Each task opens a prepared retail data scenario in a focused Microsoft Fabric teaching workspace. Change saved settings, run supported transformations and inspect output rows and diagnostics. Check my work assesses the saved state and current run results. Every task starts independently.
- Do the labs cover the current DP-700 exam outline?
- These 30 tasks practise selected objectives in the three DP-700 domains, with ten tasks each for managing an analytics solution, ingesting and transforming data, and monitoring and optimization. The mapping follows skills measured as of October 19, 2026. This is not complete coverage of every exam objective; combine the labs with official Microsoft training.
- How is this different from a Microsoft Learn sandbox or a trial tenant?
- The browser engine processes supplied fictional rows with a bounded set of SQL, PySpark and KQL operations and configuration workflows. It provides repeatable starting data and result checks without Fabric capacity. It cannot run arbitrary code, connect to data sources, grant real permissions or deploy Fabric items.
